360° Music is a recording and publishing company, sponsored by the Brooklyn Four Plus One, Inc. It is dedicated to the accurate portrayal of American World and World culture. Inasmuch as American culture has so significantly influenced the world, our organization has committed itself to document those artists of merit who, though essential to our cultural development, have been overlooked by recording and publishing entities motivated mainly by profit.

The name “360° Music” (the original name of the concept) was created by the late William G. Harris, renowned drummer, composer and musicologist. He believed that great artistry requires circumspection and on-going re-evaluation. In many for profit ventures, artistic integrity can be deemed less important than more immediate monetary rewards. Our organization is designed so that the work is of primary importance.

Our organization was created with the belief that artists of merit and their works should be available for all to appreciate and from which to learn. We are interested in documenting significant works using technical personnel of commensurate ability and values. We want to work with cultural institutions and educational facilities that provide a means for these artists and technical staff to share their works, concepts and philosophies with students and others of all ages and backgrounds. By this process, we will develop knowledgeable audiences now and into the future.

We will work with other organizations in the presentation and recording of festivals, concerts, clinics and workshops. We will also work with other institutions to develop educational programs to foster the arts, video, audio, television and radio production.
